    FAQs

    Can you put shampoo, conditioner, or lotion in the unit?

    No. We recommend using soaps and sanitizers only. 

    Do you have to use a specific brand of soap or sanitizer for this unit?

    No. Gels and liquid soaps and sanitizers can be used with this model.

    How do you clean the dispenser?

    Use a damp cloth to regularly clean the nozzle if there is a buildup of soap or sanitizer. You can also clean the sensor with a damp cloth.

    Can I use foaming products in this dispenser?

    Yes. In the SD495 you can use gel, liquid and foam soaps and sanitizers. Note: the foam dispenser is yellow, the gel dispenser is green, and the liquid dispenser is the blue pump. 

    How do I know when to change the batteries?

    The indicator light on the front of the unit will turn red when the batteries are low. Note: the light will also be red if the sensor is still activated by a hand or object even though the cycle is complete. 

    What type of batteries does this dispenser require? 

    4 AA batteries. 

    Does this have a warranty?
